i had the most adorable 5 year old reciting the 10 commandements to class today. He started with " put God first" and then when he got to commandment no 5, he said " that's all i have todaya coz i have not learnt the other 6 yet, but i'll learn it this Sunday!" .. that is soooo cute. I love teaching the little kindy kids each Monday. Each time they see me walking to class from afar, they start yelling and waving their arms .. and when they get into class and onto the floor around me, their beautiful and happy faces is worth more than gold!
put God first! who said we dont' learn from children?

Played "scattergories" with the family last night and it was soo ridiculously funny watching my aunties trying to come up with a name from the bible starting with the letter "f". It is the 2nd time in 3 months that we have tried to spend "family time" together and so far it has been awesome.
My cousins have grown up to be beautiful strong and lovely individuals and looking back at the good old times (especially the times when Ben drove me crazy arguing about whether he got me out during backyard cricket) and our monty python monologues at the dinner table! i'm glad i had Sara as company for shopping and movies, especially at times when i'm down and just not wanting to spend time with other people who asks too many questions. She justs accepts me just as I am and lets me be while just being next to me..that's all i need, someone next to me that doesn't pressure me to be someone different.. that's what family is for
anyway, after a night of scattergories, i commented that that i cant' wait for Monday to start and for the weekend to be over! Aunty gave me such a disbelieving look before I realised that other normal people who LOVE for the weekend to go on and on and on... I do have a job that goes against all normal work schedules and lifestyles.
why do i always have to be different from others?? how come i always go to places, do things that puts me in the most loneliest of places? i never "meet" people, i never do exciting things.. whenever I leave a place, it gets livelier and more exciting! aargh..
